I. StructuralCharacteristics
1. Core: UU-shaped ferrite, two U-shaped cores fitted together with metal clamps (steel clips), replacing EE core.
2. Winding: Double-wound symmetrical winding, two independent copper wires, respectively
connected in series to L and N lines; black horizontal frame with straight DIP pins.
3. Clip structure: Metal spring clamps two U-shaped magnetic cores together, and the gapbetween the magnetic cores is controlled by clip pressure; this is also the root cause of batchconsistency fluctuations.
Compared with previous EE common mode: EE is an integrated E-type core; UU istwo U pieces, with smaller leakage flux and larger saturation current, suitable forhigh-power power supplies, industrial control, and chargers.
